Ladies and Gentlemen we have hit the desert! Oh no wait, maybe its rolling hills of wheat……… wow what a day. It was hot hot hot, and today I also had to do sweep team which means that I had to be the very last team and make sure everyone got in safely. One of the members on my sweep team needed to go to get a new tire so after we cleaned up breakfast we biked to REI (American version of MEC) to get the tire. When we got there we discovered that the store wasn’t opened until 10, so we went for coffee, got the tire and didn’t get on the road until 10:30. Now when its 30 degrees and rising, that’s gonna make for a hot day. But its cool I’ve never seen rolling hills of wheat fields before, I was just super tired by the end of the day.
